A medical examiner in Florida has begun an autopsy on Anna Nicole Smith, a famous former Playboy Model who died Thursday.
The medical examiner said if Smith died of natural causes, the findings will likely be announced quickly, but definitive results could take weeks if the findings are more subtle. The examiner said he plans to hold a new conference Friday afternoon.
Authorities say paramedics tried to revive the 39-year-old Smith after she was discovered unconscious Thursday in her hotel room in Hollywood, Florida. She was later taken to a hospital.
