Pro golfer Fuzzy Zoeller has launched a lawsuit to identify the poster who edited a Wikipedia entry in his name. The lawsuit has been filed against a Florida company, which is linked to the IP address of the poster. Zoeller alleges that the entry contained a defamatory paragraph and since Wikipedia cannot be sued, he is going after the poster.The lawsuit alleges that a computer was use by somebody at Josef Silny & Associates was brought by “John Doe”, although it was later discovered that Zoeller was behind it. Wikipedia has erased the material in the post alleged to be defamatory, but the entries are still present on answers.com.
